As a note, the function relies on GNU Date, so MacOS is looking for the <span class='inlinecode'>gdate</span> commands to be available. Otherwise, it will fall back to <span class='inlinecode'>date</span>. You need to install GNU Date for Mac, as it isn&#39;t installed by default there. As I use Fedora Linux on my personal Laptop and a MacBook for work, I have to make it work for both.</span><br />
